I was reading Westmaas' s article about an extraterrestrial immigrant who fights bad people: Superman. And that bad people happened to be the Nazis.
I don't understand when the concept of "Nazis are bad" changed. Charlottesville happened: 15 people injured and Heather Heyer died. However, the President of the United States said those white supremacists were "fine people" and that violence came from "many sides."
Unite the Right chanted "One people, one nation, end immigration" among other racist and homophobic slogans. Marchers displayed swastikas ... why should we explain who the bad people are? Sadly, it seems evil is being legitimized by the most powerful man in the world.
It's truly been a gloomy month.
